Re: Issue with Inlist operator limitation

Hi Shiva,

It's simple, your user WILL HAVE TO create a Subquery in the filter area of 2nd query and forget about using that option Result from another query. No matter what you do, Oracle is going to give you an error because of that 1000 values in inlist operator limitation. Performance will be just fine, don't worry too much about that.

Simple way to create a Subquery is click on that object and click on the Subquery icon in filter panel on top right (one of the icons is for Subquery). You'll have to use Java query panel and not HTML or use Webi client tool. Check the below blog:

So, click on that object, Subquery icon and in the Subquery space, add all the filters you had in 1st query as you want to get results filtered exactly.

You may need the below posts to help you:

Thanks,

Mahboob Mohammed
