Re: How to pass an Array of Objects from SAP UI5 Controller to Jersey Web Service?

hi Dennis,

First of all, jQuery.ajax is related to jQuery - it has nothing to do with UI5.. second, his question about Jersey is no less of a question than the other so many in this space about OData in the "SAP" side.. you're not being neutral as you were not "neutral" when you probably removed my first comment.

Your previous answer is incorrect because you:

a) assumed something outside the stated problem and

b) your poor choice of words like "you ALWAYS use JSON.stringify"

On your "jQuery ajax API to send the payload to the server" statement - if you EVER had taken a minimum time and effort to at least try to understand how the .ajax method works you would know that you can send any object in the data as www-form-urlencoded.. and if you EVER had taken a minimum time in Jersey you would also know that there are a few ways to read each sort of request, but in this example something simple as a String in the arguments would suffice.

I tried to first understand "WHERE" his problem lied while you assumed (congratulations, makes you pretty smart) - I provided a decent answer at start and in the end in the Jersey space - which let's face it, someone with your "super knowledge" about Jersey should know a one off liner answer - instead, you told the op to piss off and let's face it, that's constructive.

About you calling another Moderator, PLEASE DO - because you've POSTED in this thread and that by itself should remove your moderation power, ABOVE ALL to suppress content of another user, and even more when I bash your trash response.. and now "I'm assuming" it was you (cool to assume aye?) because anyone else would ask for "support" on my statement other than removing it without any justification.

"And when I ask you about other ways that Nagishetty" - the op asks, not you.. you're absolutely no one to be "imposing questions" in this thread, if you want your questions answered you need to do what everyone else does: start a thread stating your problem and wait for someone to help you.

End of conversation, have a great day.
